Janssen set to leave Spurs
Anderlecht are set to sign Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen this summer, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has endured a nightmare few years in north London, making just 31 appearances since leaving AZ Alkmaar.
Spurs took a chance on the Netherlands international after he scored 27 goals in the Eredivisie but he has been unable to replicate that form in the Premier League.
Janssen has scored just two league goals since Spurs paid £17million for his services and he spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan in Turkey with Fenerbache.
After scoring just four goals that year he returned to Spurs but manager Mauricio Pochettino handed him just three appearances last season.
At the moment it is unclear if Anderlecht want to bring him in on loan, but, according to Het Laatste Nieuws, he could be Vincent Kompany’s first signing since he returned to the club as a player/coach.
