Hornets set to battle it out to snap up freebie Adebayor
Watford are reportedly one of several clubs who have expressed a desire to bring veteran striker Emmanuel Adebayor back to England.
The 35-year-old Togolese striker is well-known to Premier League fans following spells with Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Crystal Palace, who he left in summer 2016.
Adebayor then joined Istanbul Basaksehir in January 2017 and has remained with the Turkish side until last week when he departed by mutual consent.
He has not played a full 90 minutes since January, but still managed to score 27 goals from 71 games during his time in Istanbul.
And, reports claim Hornets boss Javi Gracia is keen to give him another chance in the Premier League, but will face competition from the likes of West Ham and Sheffield United.
