Pogba backed by agent over conduct
Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is adamant his client has not done anything wrong in terms of his conduct this summer.
Pogba has been roundly criticised for his desire to leave Manchester United this summer, and many feel he has not put in sufficient effort since being at the club.
However, he has travelled with the rest of the first team to Australia for the first leg of their pre-season tour.
The French World Cup winner admitted towards the back end of last season that he could be ready for a new challenge while Raiola reinforced that view earlier in the week.
Raiola has now defended Pogba, as he says the midfielder has acted in the right way towards United.
‘The player has done nothing wrong, he has been respectful and professional in every way,’ Raiola said in a statement released to talkSPORT.
‘The club knows his feeling for a long time, it is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information and I’m also sorry that the club does not take any position against this.
‘Hopefully there will soon be a satisfying solution for all parties.’
