Napoli priced out of James move
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis says James Rodriguez wants to join the Italians but Real Madrid are pricing them out of a move.
The Colombian is back with Los Blancos following a two-year loan stint with Bayern Munich, but remains in limbo as he is yet to get fixed up with a new club.
Real do not want to keep him as he does not figure in the plans of Zinedine Zidane, but it would appear they are still asking for a big fee in the region of £50million, one that Napoli are not willing to meet.
De Laurentiis told AS: ‘James is the most media-friendly player after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, he wants to play with us but Real Madrid are asking for too much.
‘ There is talk that English clubs are also showing an interest, but they too could be scared off by the kind of figures that Los Blancos are asking for.
