Anderson secures Lyon switch
Lyon have confirmed they have secured the services of Sampdoria defender Joachim Anderson on a five-year contract.
The talented Danish Under-21 international started his career in the Netherlands with Twente before impressing in Italy, plying his trade with Sampdoria for the last two seasons.
Lyon revealed on Friday the signing of the 23-year-old, who is believed to have joined Lyon in a deal worth £27m.
Premier League outfit Tottenham were also previously linked with a move for Anderson but Lyon have now managed to get the deal over the line.
Tanguy Ndombele and Ferland Mendy’s big-money departures from Lyon have more than helped fund the arrival of Anderson.
