Fulham set to win race for Wolves outcast
Wolves winger Ivan Cavaleiro has reportedly agreed to join Fulham on-loan ahead of a permanent switch next summer.
The former Benfica and Monaco winger struggled to earn regular gametime in the Premier League last season, starting just six games, despite having been a key figure in their promotion-winning campaign.
He starred for Wolves in the second-tier during the 2017-18 season, netting nine times in 42 appearances, and he was understood to be a target for Derby, Huddersfield and Fulham this summer.
All three are hoping to be in the promotion mix next term and clearly feel the 25-year-old can boost their chances of going up.
But reports suggest Derby and Huddersfield have fallen by the wayside and Fulham are understood to have agreed a season-long loan deal with the option to buy next summer.
Cavaleiro will head to west London to undergo a medical on Friday before Fulham are expected to officially confirm the signing.
