Leipzig risk missing out on Lookman
RB Leipzig need to improve their offer for Everton’s Ademola Lookman or risk missing out on the winger.
Lookman spent the latter half of the 2017-18 season on loan at Leipzig and the German club attempted to sign the 21-year-old last summer but were unable to reach an agreement with Everton.
Lookman went on to make 24 appearances in all competitions for Everton last season but it is thought he remains open to a move away from Goodison Park and would be willing to rejoin Leipzig on a permanent basis.
The Red Bulls had hoped to tempt Everton into a £15million sale this summer but that falls way below the Premier League club’s valuation and the German outfit now face the prospect of missing out on Lookman.
Crystal Palace have been tipped to make a move for Lookman if Wilfried Zaha departs Selhurst Park.
