Spurs consider move for Leeds star Phillips
Tottenham are reportedly planning a move for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Spurs have already signed winger Jack Clarke from Leeds this summer although the teenager will return to Elland Road to spent next season on loan with his former club.
It has now been claimed Spurs are planning a second raid on the West Yorkshire outfit and have set their sights on Phillips.
Leeds value the 23-year-old at around £30million and are understood to have already rejected a bid of £11million from Aston Villa for the midfielder.
Tottenham are likely to face competition if they do opt to move for Phillips as Villa are expected to return with an improved bid, while Newcastle have also been mooted as potential suitors.
If Spurs do sign Phillips this summer, he will link up with their first-team squad for the 2019/20 season rather than follow Clarke back to Elland Road on a temporary deal.
