Moroccan winger wants to rediscover joy after exit
Oussame Tannane says he hopes to rediscover the joy of playing after quitting Saint-Etienne and signing for Vitesse Arnhem.
The 25-year-old winger has completed a permanent move from the Ligue 1 club, where he had no future after reported attitude problems.
He has signed a three-year deal with Vitesse and moved to the Netherlands for an undisclosed fee.
‘The Eredivisie is a championship that suits me,’ he told the Vitesse website.
‘I hope I can quickly impose myself with Vitesse, it is important to find the pleasure of playing.
Only if you feel good about yourself can you give the best of yourself.
I want to show the real Tannane again.
‘ Having arrived at Les Verts in 2017, Tannane’s time at the club was marred by attitude problems and he leaves having played only 47 matches, scoring 5 goals.
The Moroccan international spent last season on loan with FC Utrecht and would have been out of contract at St Etienne next summer.
