Diaz linked with Premier switch
The father of reported Crystal Palace target Paulo Diaz has revealed there have been talks with an English club over a summer move.
Having sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for £50million, Palace are in the market for a new right-back and they have been linked with a move for Al Ahli defender Diaz.
The 24-year-old Chile international can play across the back and he is reportedly available for around £10million, which would leave the Eagles with plenty of money to spend on further additions.
Adding an extra level of intrigue to these rumours, Diaz’s father is claimed to have said discussions with an unnamed English club have taken place about a potential summer switch to the Premier League.
Palace have also been linked with moves for Norwich City’s Max Aarons and Atalanta’s Tim Castagne but, with neither looking likely, an offer for Diaz could be on the cards.
