Dortmund face battle to retain left-back
Barcelona will reportedly go after Borussia Dortmund full-back Raphael Guerreiro this summer.
The Portugal international was restricted to just 23 Bundesliga appearances last season after losing his place to Abdou Diallo.
Indeed, he has never been a regular for Dortmund following his move from Lorient in the summer of 2016 and he may welcome the chance to move on this summer.
Reports in Spain claim that Barcelona are big admirers of the 25-year-old as they look to bring in some competition for Jordi Alba.
They were initially keen on signing Real Betis’ Junior Firpo but have since backed off after being quoted £25million for him.
It’s understood that Dortmund are demanding a similar fee but the report in AS claims they are hopeful of getting a better deal.
Guerreiro’s contract is set to expire in 2020 and Dortmund could be forced to reduce their asking price over fears he may leave for free next summer.
