Burnley are reportedly interested in signing Norwich City goalkeeper Jon McCracken.

The 19-year-old continues to be linked with a move away from Carrow Road, with a number of scouts being sent to watch him in recent months.

McCracken has never played for Norwich’s first team but his performances for the club’s Under-23s side have caught the eye.

The Scotland international is third choice under Daniel Farke but Burnley are hoping to offer him a new challenge in Lancashire.

The Clarets already have Nick Pope, Tom Heaton and Joe Hart at their disposal, but boss Sean Dyche is resigned to losing at least one of his three stoppers this summer.

Reports suggest Burnley could save some money on the deal, with the Canaries willing to let McCracken leave on a free as he searches for regular football.

However, it is not going to be easy to land him as Wigan Athletic and Newcastle United are both also being linked with a bid.

Newcastle want more competition for regular No.

1 Martin Dubravka, while Wigan believe an easier route to the first team there will make them favourites during talks.
