Pulgar attracting Premier interest
West Ham United are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Bologna midfielder Erick Pulgar.
Chile international Pulgar’s stock has been rising over the past couple of seasons and his impressive performances helped Bologna finish 10th in Serie A last season, safely away from relegation trouble.
The 25-year-old scored six goals from 28 league appearance in the 2018/19 campaign and could be set for a move to the Premier League following reports of interest from West Ham.
With Hammers star Declan Rice continuing to attract interest from Europe’s top teams, Manuel Pellegrini is said to be lining up potential replacements for the England international.
It is claimed the 65-year-old manager has earmarked compatriot Pulgar as the man he wants to bring to the London Stadium if Rice is snapped up before the summer transfer window ends.
Reports are suggesting it will take an offer close to £15million for West Ham to sign the Chilean, who still has three years left on his contract at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
