China move all talk - Ighalo

Odion Ighalo says he has no clue about any potential deal to leave Watford for the Chinese Super League.

Ighalo, who joined the English outfit in 2014 from Udinese, has been suffering a crisis of form in front of goal this season and has only scored once from 17 Premier League appearances.

The Nigeria international's struggle is a far cry away from the sublime performances produced in the first half of the 2015/16 campaign, where he scored 13 league goals in 2015.

However, despite his disappointment in the goal department, the 27-year-old is still a sought-after target and could become the latest high-profile name to make the switch to China.

Hebei China Fortune and Shanghai SIPG are both keeping a close eye on the striker and it is believed the latter made a huge bid of £37.5million this month.

But, Ighalo is none the wiser to any potential interest in his services and admits he needs to speak to his representatives to find out what the situation is.

"I don't know anything about the interest from Shanghai Shenhua, I have to ask my agent Atta [Aneke]," he told allnigeriasoccer.com.
