Watford will be without defender Daryl Janmaat for up to three weeks after he suffered a shoulder injury against Manchester United.
The 27-year-old Netherlands international was forced out of the 3-1 win at Vicarage Road after 50 minutes when he fell awkwardly.
Janmaat, who signed from Newcastle in the summer and set up Etienne Capoue for his goal against the Red Devils, was immediately replaced by Nordin Amrabat.
And the Moroccan is now poised to be given another run in the side by boss Walter Mazzarri, who started him for the opening three games of the campaign at right wing-back before he missed the win at West Ham because of a slight knock.
Janmaat's injury has also resulted in him being omitted from the provisional 29-man Dutch squad for the World Cup qualifiers at home to Belarus on October 7 and France on October 10.
