Silva still aiming for survival

Watford boss Marco Silva insists his team are still aiming for Premier League survival despite their strong start to the season.

The Hornets are currently unbeaten in the league after a superb start to the campaign and they are fourth heading into the weekend.

Silva's men started the season with a home draw to Liverpool but they have since picked up seven points.

A 2-0 win against Bournemouth was then followed up by a 0-0 draw against Brighton, before Watford overcame Southampton last weekend.

Only Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have better records than Watford but Silva is refusing to look too far ahead.

The former Hull City boss is still adamant that avoiding relegation is the target and you can back them to stay up using your free bet.

He told reporters: "It doesn't change anything. Since the first time I have spoke with you [the media] it hasn't changed. Because we have started well it doesn't change our goal.

"It is clear we want to keep our club as a Premier League club and to do something better than the last two seasons.

"I believe we can do it but we need to improve on the pitch, not here or because I speak. We need to improve every day in training and every match we need to fight to take points for us.

"We are happy, everything that has been done we are satisfied with this. We got important points for our fight but nothing more. It is important we are unbeaten. We had a good performance in some of the matches as well but it is the past."
