West Brom assistant David Kemp believes manager Tony Pulis will not let himself become worried by the pressure on him currently.
The Welsh tactician is thought to be under the spotlight at the Hawthorns after clashing with the club over their summer transfer dealings, while a change in ownership has also lead to speculation he could be moved on.
A mixed start to the season has done little to ease the pressure Pulis supposedly finds himself under, although last week's 4-2 triumph over West Ham has seemingly appeased some sections of the fan base.
Kemp says Pulis will not be letting himself get caught up in all the speculation concerning his future, claiming he and the Albion boss have been around the block too many times to let themselves be worried.
“Tony Pulis is coming up for 1,000 games this week,” Kemp told the Express & Star. “I've probably done more than 1,000 as an assistant.
“We've been in football a long time and you don't worry about things like that.
“It's just not an issue, you go to work, you do what you do.
“The idea is to win, we did it on Saturday so it's a good day, but it's not going to be like that every week. It's peaks and troughs, you have to go with it.”
