Nagatomo on Baggies radar

West Brom are said to be among a trio of Premier League clubs tracking Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo.

The 31-year-old spent four years with FC Tokyo in Japan’s J1 League and enjoyed his first taste of Italian football when spending the 2010-2011 season on loan at Cesena.

The left-back did enough to earn a move to the San Siro and has made 200 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring 11 goals in the process and winning the Coppa Italia in 2011.

Nagatomo, who has earned 91 caps for Japan since his 2008 debut, has recently been offered a new deal by Inter and is currently mulling over whether to stay at the Serie A outfit or look for a new challenge.

There would certainly be no shortage of suitors if he opted to jump ship, with Burnley and Newcastle United also thought to be keen on the talented stopper and willing to challenge Tony Pulis for his signature.
