Pulis talked up for Wales job

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has been linked with becoming the next Wales manager should Chris Coleman step aside.

Wales missed out on the 2018 World Cup in a Russia after a 1-0 defeat in their crucial qualifier with the Republic of Ireland on Monday.

Coleman's future with the national side is uncertain and Baggies boss Pulis has been established as the favourite to take over with the Dragons should a vacancy become available.

Having worked to bring in new players over the summer transfer window to the Hawthorns, the West Brom hierarchy will be determined to keep hold of their experienced coach.

For the moment Coleman is still in the position with the Welsh FA and Pulis will be solely focused on Monday's trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City.
