West Ham are still being linked with a move for Vitesse Arnhem's Wilfried Bony as they look for a strike partner for Andy Carroll.
The east Londoners have long been linked with the star striker but now they have landed Carroll they may turn their attentions to a cheaper option.
Everton, Newcastle, Swansea and Anzhi Makhachkala are also thought to be keen on the highly-rated striker, who has made it clear he wants to leave the Netherlands and move to the Premier League.
West Ham chairman David Sullivan is dreaming of pairing Romelu Lukaku and Carroll up front for the Hammers next season and will try and land the Chelsea star on loan, but if he can't do that he may go back in for Bony.
Vitesse are said to be holding out for £15m for the 24-year-old, who scored 31 goals in the Dutch top-flight last season and who has made it clear he wants a move, although that price is likely to make him too expensive for a host of his suitors.
