Striker linked to Hammers

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is said to be closing in on Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz who says a final decision on his future is due.

The 30-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Hammers in a £7.5m deal but the Hammers have an issue with the financial fair play rules and have just snapped up Sam Byram from Leeds.

West Ham do have injuries to Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho so have been linked with a new striker but it remains to be seen if they make a move for the Turkish star.

Yilmaz says his future is almost sorted, saying: "My future will become clear within the next 1-2 days."
