Stoke without Jese for pivotal trip to West Ham

Stoke City will be without Jese Rodriguez for Monday's crucial clash against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Jese, who joined the Potters on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, failed to turn up for three days of training last week before it emerged he was back in Spain at a reggaeton concert.

Stoke are said to be furious with the forward’s recent actions and it appears he has played his last game for the club, with reports claiming his loan move will be terminated early.

Manager Paul Lambert also remains without forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who is not yet ready to return from a groin injury, whilst defender Kostas Stafylidis and goalkeeper Lee Grant are both on the sidelines.

The Staffordshire-based outfit head into Monday’s game sitting 19th in the Premier League and, with six points now the gap to Swansea in 17th, it is imperative all three points are picked up at the London Stadium.
