West Ham United v Stoke City

West Ham Utd.

West Ham welcome Stoke to the London Stadium on Monday evening with both teams in need of the points to boost their survival hopes.

The Hammers looked in big trouble following the demonstrations against the board but have bounced back following the international break, beating Southampton and drawing at Chelsea.

David Moyes is likely to stick with the team that drew at Stamford Bridge, although Javier Hernandez could get the nod after scoring against the Blues.

They won 3-0 in the Potteries in December and another victory will take West Ham nine points clear of the bottom three.

Marko Arnautovic was one of the scorers that day and will be raring to go after celebrating somewhat overzealously against his former club at the bet365.

Stoke are four points adrift of safety and Paul Lambert has recorded just one win since being appointed in January.

With five games to go, they are six points from safety but have showed some encouraging signs in defeats to Arsenal and Tottenham.

The Potters face Burnley, Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Swansea before the end of the season and will hope to use their trip to the East End to discover some form heading into the closing games.

Charlie Adam is again suspended while Kurt Zouma could return to the starting XI after being included on the bench against Spurs.

Stoke are undefeated in their last five away matches against West Ham and are likely to require at least a point from this fixture if they are to survive.
