Plymouth Argyle news

Plymouth have the dubious honour of being the most southern and western league club in England.

The Pilgrims were founded in 1886 and became professional in 1903, with their highest Home Park attendance coming in 1936 when 43,596 fans watched the Division Two clash with Aston Villa.

Notable former Plymouth players include Tommy Tynan, Peter Shilton, Mickey Evans and Paul Mariner.
